Personality: Slow-moving and peaceful, smaller pokemon naturally feel safe around Callio because he is so gentle. Curious, friendly but aloof, often lost in thought, intelligent, kind-hearted. Enjoys exploring the deep sea where few pokemon dare to venture, and coming back with stories and observations that engage both the logical mind and the imagination. He is able to breathe water and air. 

His friends on the surface worry sometimes, when he is gone for a long time. Weeks, sometimes months pass with no sight of him. But they know he will always return no matter where he goes or how long he is gone.
