This odd little creature is hard to classify as such; it bares the resemblance of a tree stump so one may think to classify it as some sort of fungi- however, it does definitely think for itself.
It hobbles around the jungle floor so slowly, one might not think it was moving at all.
It does this until it finds a large tree it deems as suitable, climbs up, and attaches itself to the side of the tree, holding on with its strong legs.
After doing this it will then lounge around for hours on end with its mouth hanging open, waving its tongue around slowly, twitching at random intervals to attract prey.
Once prey is close enough, the tongue lashes out, snagging the prey with its sticky saliva, and pulling the creature back into its maw.
