- After Frostflame fell in love with Gage, he spent days at Gage's twoleg home. He couldn't bare to go back to the den that stil had Turtleheart's scent in it. The Clan questioned where Frostflame went during that time, but no true answer ever arose.
- Frostflame feels guilty for how Nightpool turned out. While he tried his best in mentoring Nightpool in the right direction, he blames himself for Nightpool's betrayal and demise.

Gage and Frostflame met after Turtleheart's death. Frostflame greived next to the road where Turtleheart was hit by a monster, and Gage approached him, asking him if he was okay. Frostflame blew him off often, but eventually came around. They became mates and Gage introduced him to Oliver, his kittypet friend. After Lynxstar was killed, Frostflame asked for Gage's and Oliver's help, and Oliver was the first to agree to it. Gage also agreed, and they rounded up their two other friends Gilligan and Nova to take down Nightpool. Gage still lives in twolegplace, but Oliver joined ShadowClan as Raccoonpaw.
Notes:
- Gage enjoys being a kittypet and will remain as one.
- ShadowClan knows about Frostflame's relationship with Gage, but they don't mind since Gage helped save ShadowClan.
- Gage is basically a daylight-warrior for ShadowClan, spending his time visiting openly and hunting for them.

Blizzardtail is the brother of Frostflame. He has always stuck by Frostflame's side since they were little. He helped Frostflame out of an abusive relationship and even supported him in his new ones. Blizzardtail always resented Lynxstar, but helped take down Nightpool in the end. He was appointed deputy after Frostflame appointed Sparkstar as leader of ShadowClan.
Notes:
- Blizzardtail is loyal to only one thing over ShadowClan - his brother Frostflame.
- Blizzardtail was asked by Nightpool to help him kill Lynxstar, but Blizzardtail didn't take Nightpool seriously.
- Blizzardtail feels guilty for letting Lynxstar die.

Icestrike helped Nightpool kill Lynxstar, and fought on Nightpool's side afterwards. Frostflame exiled Icestrike after Nightpool was killed.
Notes:
- Icestrike hated Frostflame for killing Nightpool.
- Icestrike, however, respected and feared Frostflame for good reason. He didn't think anyone could kill Nightpool, and he was shocked when Nightpool fell to Frostflame's claws.
- Frostflame never trusted Icestrike, and was not surprised to see Icestrike on Nightpool's side.

Raccoonpaw was originally a kittypet named Oliver, the younger brother of Ketsueki. Raccoonpaw turned on Ketsueki during the battle, and Ketsueki crippled him beyond repair. Raccoonpaw decided to join ShadowClan, and he was appointed to Frostflame as his apprentice.
Notes:
- Raccoonpaw respects Frostflame like a father he never had.
- Raccoonpaw is basically the adopted child of Gage and Frostflame.
- Raccoonpaw despises his brother Ketsueki for crippling him and trying to kill his friends.

Lynxstar was the leader of ShadowClan during Frostflame's life. He was also Frostflame's oldest brother. Frostflame looked up to Lynxstar and was loyal to him and ShadowClan above everything. When Nightpool killed Lynxstar, Frostflame felt guilt and anger towards his former apprentice. Frostflame killed Nightpool to avenge Lynxstar and ShadowClan.
Notes:
- Lynxstar had hoped that Frostflame would become leader after Nightpool was dead, but he was satisfied with the fact that his daughter Sparkstar took his place instead.
- Lynxstar approves of Frostflame's relationship with Gage.
- Lynxstar is thankful to all those who avenged his death and took leadership away from Nightpool.

Flamestrike is the father of Breezesong, Pearlshine, Frostflame, and Blizzardtail. He betrayed ShadowClan by abusing and neglecting his family and was exiled by Lynxstar. Flamestrike caused a lot of emotional damage in Frostflame's life.

- Flamestrike was proud of his kits, but did not possess the ability to feel love.
- Flamestrike loved Coldfeather, but in a more controlling and domineering way.
- Flamestrike lives as a rogue now with his new mate, Softbird.

Coldfeather is the mother of Lynxstar, Blacktail, Fawnleap, Creekwhisker, Frostflame, and Blizzardtail. She is very mentally unstable, which got worse when Lynxstar was murdered. She is the cause of a lot of Frostflame's emotional pain.
Notes:
- Coldfeather loves her kits, but she is too narcissistic to show it.
- Coldfeather's favorite kit is Creekwhisker, but it was Lynxstar before he died.
- Coldfeather doesn't really like Frostflame or Blizzardtail.

Starlingsong was Blizzardtail's apprentice while Nightpool was Frostflame's apprentice. Starlingsong was in love with Nightpool and supported him through his crimes, until Frostflame convinced her she was being manipulated and abused by Nightpool. Starlingsong turned on Nightpool after he killed her father, Speckleflame, and placed the killing blow across his stomach.
Notes:
- Starlingsong loved Nightpool, but she knew Frostflame was right about him.
- Starlingsong is still a close friend to Frostflame and Blizzardtail.
- Starlingsong could never forgive Nightpool for killing her father.
