Stabbed his twin brother in the back and killed him since Ragnar was favored as the crown prince. When he still wasn't made crown prince himself, he killed his parents in a fire and became king at 19. His younger sister, Belle, is blind due to complications from the fire. His younger brother, Acelin, found out everything and hates him.
Married and has twin girls who are uncomfortably similar to himself and his own twin brother
He has so many issues. So many. Daddy issues, mommy issues, inferiority issues, a tendency to drink his problems away, sometimes he sets stuff on fire to feel something, he's fucked most of his friends and has complicated relationships with all of them, he's convinced he's the reason his friends and partners keep dying, etc
His twin was resurrected at some point and was biding his time to take vengeance. He cuts Icaron's sword arm off at some point and he eventually gets a prosthetic
