»Physical Appearance (normal): Aki is exactly the average Japanese middle schooler. She has straight black hair reaching down to her mid-back. She has smooth, pale skin. Her eyes are a dark brown lined with sparse lashes. Usually she wears her simple school uniform, since she can often be found on her way home from school heading to cram school.

»Physical Appearance (magical girl): As a magical girl, Aki’s dark hair is tied up into half up pigtails with bat wing ribbons. Her eyes turn red (which she uses her magic to do). Her outfit --as shown above— is a red and black frilled skirt with a red strapped corset. She wears a fishnet body suit underneath the whole outfit. Her boots are knee high with red bat wings on the ankles. The back of her skirt has two large bat wings that do not allow her to fly, but do move as she speaks.  Her socks are mismatched, with the right side a black ripped stocking and the other a fishnet garter. On her left arm is a metal bat wing paudron with a striped sleeve and a fingerless biker glove. On the other side is a black elbow length glove with a red band on her wrist. Pinned to her shoulder is her bat shaped soul gem, attaching a cape to complete the look.

»Personality: To most, Aki is a soft spoken and respectful girl. She has few friends and is mostly forgotten by her peers. Aki desperately wants to be seen as “cool” and to be well liked. She hates that she has no close friends. When transformed, Aki forces herself to be completely different. She thinks that in order to be cool, she has to also be a badass and a very powerful person. She takes on a persona where she claims to be “Akuma, the demon queen!”

◈Combat◈

»Weapon Description: Despite her small stature, Aki swings around a large red and gold scythe with decorative bat wings. It has no extra power connected to it.

»Power Description: Aki utilizes Shadow Manipulation, meaning she can control shadows at will. Her powers allow her to cloak herself in darkness to hide, as well as teleport between any shadows as long as she can see them. This power eventually grows into the ability to weaponize darkness, turning it into a physical form. She uses this to create small whips or daggers at will. She can tilt her scythe to the side-creating a shadow under the blade- and throw it at her enemies as a long-range blade. As these shadows are physical, she can use them to restrain people or even to strangle them. The shadows can be turned into barriers to stop attacks.

»Fighting Style (optional): As a new magical girl, Aki quickly learned to hide in darkness to sneak past minions directly into the witch's lair. However, her other powers are discovered over time as she learns new things and tries to use her abilities in new ways to fit her powerful persona.
