Icestrike and Nightpool met while they were still apprentices. They became close quickly and soon began meeting every night by the lake. When they became warriors, they became mates and Nightpool asked Icestrike to help him kill Lynxstar so he could be leader. Icestrike agreed, but Nightpool died. Icestrike left the Clans after Nightpool's death and died soon after murdering his father to avenge his siblings.

Notes:

• Icestrike valued Nightpool more than he valued his own life
• Icestrike was the only cat Nightpool could actually be open with
• Icestrike saw a side of Nightpool no other cat did

Icestrike and Nightpool came to Shadowheart with an offer he could not refuse. They promised to help him kill his leader Waspstar to avenge the death of Duskwhisker if Shadowheart helped them kill Lynxstar to make Nightpool leader. Shadowheart, but split after Nightpool and Waspstar died. He didn't care about anything else.

Notes:

• Icestrike and Shadowheart were close acquaintances, maybe even friends.
• Nightpool never really trusted Shadowheart, voicing his worries about Shadowheart to Icestrike often.
• Shadowheart left afterwards to be a kittypet with his new close friend Ketsueki.

Heronfrost tried to kill Icestrike and his siblings when they were kits. He succeeded in killing Autumnkit, Spottedkit, and Lizardkit, but failed in killing Icestrike. Icestrike struggles with many mental disorders and chronic anxiety due to this. Near the end of his life, Icestrike hallucinated the voices of his siblings telling him to avenge their death, so he murdered Heronfrost right before he died himself.

Notes:

• Heronfrost did not love his kits - he was incapable of love.
• Heronfrost loved Dewbreeze before his mind broke, but after he lost his mind he could not love Dewbreeze.
• Heronfrost did not blame Icestrike for killing him, and even respects him for it.

When Nightpool came to take Lynxstar's life, Lynxstar was not surprised to see Nightpool and knew instantly what Nightpool was there to do. He didn't even bat an eye when he saw Shadowheart - that warrior was always shifty. However, he was shocked to see Icestrike among the others. He had thought Icestrike was just a lonesome warrior who was bad at forming relationships due to his family falling apart... But apparently Icestrike was hiding a more sinister side.

Notes:

• Lynxstar was shocked, but impressed, by Icestrike's revelation that he was part of Nightpool's group of followers - and such a highly ranks one at that.
• Lynxstar however cannot forgive Icestrike for his crimes.
• If Lynxstar had lived, he would have killed Icestrike as punishment rather than letting him go as Frostflame did.

Alderstorm was fairly close to Icestrike, but was still stand-offish because she felt awkward around Icestrike. She didn't really trust him, but kept things formal as to give him the benefit of the doubt. When Icestrike was banished from the Clans, she was not surprised. She only silently wished him the best and turned her attention from it.

Notes:

• Alderstorm was disappointed when she was given Icestrike as an apprentice.
• Alderstorm tried her best to make Icestrike feel as if he was welcome, but still blamed herself for his betrayal in the end.
• Alderstorm regretted that she did not take Icestrike in as her kit when he was young. She had just lost her litter of kits when Icestrike's mother abandoned him, but she was grieving too much to do such a thing.

Dewbreeze was Icestrike's mother. She loved her kits viciously while they were still alive, but when Heronfrost murdered Autumnkit, Spottedkit, and Lizardkit she became detached from Icestrike, scared he would die. Dewbreeze refused to care for Icestrike, and he was forced to become an apprentice at 4 moons old. He was not close to Dewbreeze for the rest of his life, and his trust in others was hurt by this.

Notes:

• Dewbreeze loves Icestrike just as she always did, but she was scared to open herself up again to him in fear of losing him.
• Dewbreeze regretted not giving Icestrike love so much that when he was exiled, she left WindClan to go and find him - living her last days as a rogue.
• Dewbreeze was always in love with Heronfrost, and she will always love the cat Heronfrost used to be.
