As a new trainer, Willow participated in the Galar Gym Challenge. However, after acquiring all eight badges, she found herself bored with the competition. She still desired to compete in something, though, and after realizing what she was missing was a bit of flair, set to work reinvigorating Galar's largely-dead coordinating scene.

It took a few years of hard work and help from her friends from the League (the then-newly appointed champion, Leon, and her fellow influencer Raihan, as well as Chairman Rose) but her determination paid off- contests in Galar had taken off! While she still enjoys a good battle (contests do have them, after all, and she battles with her League friends every so often), she's quite happy with her position as Top Coordinator in Galar, and strives to share the joys of performing with people and Pokémon alike.

Leon and Willow are considered by fans to be "Galar's King and Queen," as he is the current Champion of the League Challenge and she's the region's current Top Coordinator. The moniker began prior to them dating, but since they began seeing each other and it became public, it's become a widely popular way to refer to them. Even after Gloria defeats Leon, the moniker remains.

She's a somewhat tall young woman with a lithe, athletic build. Her hair is long, straight, and often pulled into a low ponytail while she's performing. It's a pleasant shade of brown with a deep green underneath. During her day-to-day life, she either wears it down or pulls it back in a bun with a hat. She tends to dress in a sporty-stylish way and favors more athletic outfits. She likes to wear green, white, brown, and yellow, in particular, and sometimes clothing with pink accents. Her contest garb is similar to a fencer's outfit.

For a fun bit of trivia, she's left-handed! She can use her right hand somewhat, but not enough to be ambidextrous.

Personality

Willow is clever, dependable, and extremely driven and ambitious. She puts a lot of passion and effort into contests and making them the best that they can be, and it shows in her competitiveness. However, she can also be rather controlling, stubborn, and a major workaholic- all traits she's aware of and is trying to deal with, but she's pretty stuck in her ways. She tends to be logic-driven and more self-serving than not, but she's willing to help any friend in need. She's extremely confident in herself and her abilities.
