Soft and Jiggly
Design Ideas/Thoughts
- Originally she was made with the phase "rainy/raining" in mind
- The blue is a result of that, and she keeps that motif for the most part
- It's a bit hard to see, but she's got purple eyes and cute freckles on her face.
- While I would say she does in fact fantasia, as a general rule her 'real' personality is while she's a lalafell.
- I do not condone any overtly sexual depections of her while she is a lalafell.
- Don't underestimate her! ;)
Tofu is a very independent and knowledgeable lady, and as such, dislikes to be taken as anything other than as such. While she doesn't have much of a temper for most people, any sign of snobery or self servitude make her figuratively and literally turn her nose up and turn away.
Her attitude is one of a double edged sword; she tends to be very firm and aggressive, but only to get her point across. On the other hand, her anger tends to be very quiet and burning, internallizing a lot of those more destructive emotions for use in her time as a protector, wielding her axe. With her age, and her want for a proper family, she has a strong maternal instinct which gives her a soft spot for some of her more child-like companions, for better or worse.
She has her emotions very closely guarded to most people, and while the aforementioned internalizing helps her power her rage during bouts of becoming a Warrior, it also serves to hurt her psyche a bit. While she does have people she would gladly talk to for hours about all the things she could have done, the hurting emotions grind her down about twice as quickly as a normal person. To which, if she can't ease that stress, she will typically have a very violent and sorrowful reaction to let it all out.
Tofu thinks about her lack of a family quite often, and also potentially making a new one, but unfortunately for her any prospects don't exactly treat her as she'd like due to her race.

BardWeapon: Asphodelos Harp Bow
Tofu is well versed in the sounds and songs that the Bard can use to their advantage, and she does so with great expertise. This however, was not her original martial Job, and one she only ended up taking up in her tenure at The First. She picked it up in reaction to a strong emotional outburst where she broke down for hours, before the Exarch came to soothe her and give her renewed purpose.
These days, she plucks gently at the harp she keeps in her room, but keeps her skills sharp for the time they will be needed again.
MonkMakai Fists
Her most recent addition to her repitoire, she diligently studies the art, quickly mastering more and more with each passing day. Her previous time as a Warrior and her muscles from that time lend well to her lessons as a Monk. As well as her emotions helping to quicken her understanding of chakras and the like, she is able to deftly and quickly weave her fists into a deadly flurry of kicks and punches. With time put into it, she's mastered all she needs to learn, but now she's fighting an uphill battle in learning how to apply it.
WarriorWeapon: Seiryu's Sanctified War Axe
The Job she was originally most proficient and melded with the best, her time as a Warrior is nothing to scoff at. Her hard strikes with her axe had in time landed her the nickname of The Blue Wrath in not only the Source, but also the First. The rage she unleashes during her practice of this Job has been said to be one of the most terrifiying and surprising to see out of a small lalafell such as herself. And with this rage, she applies it well, able to fell many foes. Although, her streak of felling foes was cut short during her time helping with the resistance at Rhalgr's Reach.
AstrologianWeapon: Star Globe
Unlike her other combat oriented Jobs, this is the Job she's had the least practice with. She picked it up due to an interest with the scholarly side of it all, but the style it gave tended to lend itself less to what she was used to, so at the moment, has let her skills with it wither.

While already having experience during her time as a scholar, her gathering ability is on par with her combat skills, able to easily grab any known mineral or flora and fauna at a moment's notice. Of course, within the restrictions of any specific gathering conditions.
DoHTool(s): Handsaint's Tools
She recently had made it a point to keep herself busy with anything and everything she could while her ongoing adventures were either on pause, or did not require her specifically. To which, she's slowly learning the arts of creation, albeit within the stage of crafts. She's mastered a handful of crafts, but it is slow going unlike her other forays into other diciplines. She works better with crafts that require strength, such as Blacksmithing or Armoring.
Tofufu Tofu is a lalafell who originally lived in Thavnair for some time, before deciding to leave her family behind to explore scholarly pursuits. Her wanderlust kept her from staying in any one place for a long time, but eventually she found herself brushing up with the scholars of Sharlayan, and got a lot of her wealth of knowledge from them. From this, she picked up a little bit of magic alongside her knowledge to help her learn how to fend for herself.
But as all things tend to come to in Eorzea, tragedy struck her as she was continuing her journey. She found herself in the fringes of the Seventh Umbral Calamity, not far from the Battle of Carteneau. While she was not so lucky in the same way as many of the heroes that day, she was lucky in the way of keeping her own life. Injured, she made her way away from the bloody apocolyptic battle that ensued and limped to rest. When she awoke, she was ready to make a hard choice. She would seek to figure out what happened, and if she could help in any way.
In this, she made her way to the shores of Limsa Lomnisa, and the rest is, now, history. She rose up and became the hero she was meant to be, this era's Warrior of Light. Or at least, one of them. She wields her axe and bow confidently, ready to strike down anyone who dares to disturb the peace, and protect those who can't pick up their own weapons.
Currently, she enjoys her downtime by distracting herself with menial tasks, such as taking up hobbies in the form of various crafts.
- Tofu tends to very sweet to most friends, while portraying a very shut off and isolated personality to those she's unsure of.
- She litters her Free Company room with plushies.
- She loves the color blue, and tends to lean towards a more royal blue theme.
- She was married at 30 and was planning to have kids, though currently that remains a dream.
- She proved herself a proficient leader and has reached the rank of Storm Captain.
- Her general theme of blue isn't permanent, she doesn't mind changing in to more appropriate colors depending on what her friends and Free Company are doing on a given day.
- Her biological parents are of both Doman and Eorzean lineage, as such, her name is a reminder of that.
- While in her Lalafelian form, she love to keep herself in dresses, but will also lean into functional fashion.
