Background Inherited Nobility
You weren't born into a position of nobility, but were adopted into it. People are split on what to think of you; some of them think of you as a noble and will give you their full respect while others still think of you as a peasant.
Race Feat
You gain one feat of your choice
Feat Lucky
You have 3 luck points per long rest. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw (or when an attack roll is made against you), you can spend one to roll an additional d20 and you choose which die to use. You can choose to spend luck points after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined.
Class Arcane Recovery
Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can choose expended spell slots to recover - up to a combined level of 2, and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher.
Class Divination Savant
The gold and time you must spend to copy a divination spell into your spellbook is halved.
Class Portent
When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn. Each roll can only be used once.

Negative Traits

  • Unstable
  • Self-Loathing
  • Luck Magnet (everyone else is unlucky)

Wyatt has always had a supernatural luck that has kept him alive in many instances. It's almost like there is a deity watching over him to keep him safe. For instance, say he was walking near a group of kids playing and one of them kicked a ball and sent it straight at his head. Right before the ball hit, he would see a spare silver piece on the ground and bend over to pick it up, having the ball narrowly miss. Unfortunatly, the ball would have probably hit the person walking next to him. It was like he was a magnet for luck, sucking any bit of fortune out of the rest of the world. While most people loved Wyatt, this strange luck of his has lead some people to despise his very existance...

The story so far

Wyatt's family was killed in a siege on his village when he was only 5 years old. He was the only one who survived. The knights who were sent to rid the bandits found him, on the brink of death, and brought him back to Plundell, and the half elf noble they served, Lady Loraine von Plundell, to save his life. They noticed that too the only injury he had suffered was the loss of his arm, and the loss of blood from it. The estates finest blacksmiths and artificers built him the prosthetic arm and Loraine then decided to adopt him.
Plundell was a grand town a short walk from where Wyatt grew up. It was mainly a town of market and trade, people from all corners of the continent went there to try and make a living. Lady Loraine was loved by all in Plundell, she was honest and fair and kind as can be. Growing up, the knights and servants witnessed that the boy was supernaturally lucky; every instance of danger would narrowly pass him and he'd walk away just fine.
Lady Loraine had three biological children; the oldest, Darrelle(m 38); the middle child, Juliet(f 22) and the youngest, Alexander(m 17)
One day, Lady Loraine fell ill, and things were looking really bad for her. The knights of the estate were sent out to find some cure for her but she had passed before they returned. Clerics were brought in to do an autopsy, and they discovered she had been poisoned. Everyone mourned the loss of their beloved lady. After the period of mourning was over, Darrelle was crowned the Lord of the estate.
One stormy night Darrelle accused Wyatt of poisoning his mother, he claimed to have found an empty vial of poison in the wards things. He called the knights to execute his adoptive brother. Wyatt was woken by Elijah soon after. He explained what happened, then Elijah and Juliet helped Wyatt flee through a secret passage under the castle that let out into the woods surrounding the town. After a tear jerking good-bye, Wyatt disappeared into the forest never to be seen by the citizens of Plundell again.
Under Darrelle's rule, the town of Plundell began to fall. Merchants began to leave his eldest son is going to take over, who was always jealous of Wyatt and exile him from their estate. He, of course, blamed this on Wyatt for poisoning his mother. Wanted posters still are posted around the town for Wyatt's capture.

Friends, enemies, and everything in-between

Elijah Priest
Friend, Love Interest
Wyatt and Elijah essentially grew up together, both of them were rescued by the Plundell's knights and taken in by the Lady herself. Though they took different paths at the estate, Wyatt being a scholar and ELijah being a knight, they still spent all of their free time together. They were often seen in the estates greenhouse together, laughing and being as close as two can be. There were whispers throughout the estate that the two were more than just friends, but nothing has ever been confirmed...

Darrelle von Plundell
Brother(Adoptive)
Darrelle did not get along with Wyatt, he often put Wyatt down and blamed everything that went wrong on his adoptive brother. Darrelle felt like he was the antithesis of Wyatt's luck; say a child kicked a ball and it was headed straight towards Wyatt. The ball would narrowly miss Wyatt, leaving him unharmed, but as a result it would hit Darrelle in the face. Darrelle put out a warrent for Wyatt's arrest after their mothers mysterious death.
