Backstory

Grew up in the ghettos of Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was abused by his father, Andrew. His mother, Brianna, was really sweet and always helped James cope with the abuse for she, too, was abused. He (officially) met David in first grade when the teacher asked the class to make mother's day cards and David had started crying. James started getting bullied by Richard and Trevor when he was 10, after attempting to stand up for David. James later discovered he's bisexual when he was 15 years old, and he told his mom but didn't tell his dad until he was 17 which ended up in his dad LITERALLY throwing him out of the house into the snow, after that he walked a mile to David's house and knocked on his window. David pulled him inside and warmed him up then announced that he's going to boot camp and that was on of their closest moments (Bond-wise). He went to boot camp because he didn't want to leave David behind and he believed he was falling in love with David. James always helped David out after breakups but after he introduced David to Eleanor and they fell apart David started to ignore James for a year. James had been experimenting with drugs and became a full on addict after his girlfriend, Addison, kicked him out for suspicions of cheating.

Present

James approaches David at work and vents to him about how bad things have been going for him, which introduces him into the story. Later on James is messing around in a project room and Project 129 transforms him into an anthro Labrador Retriever. After that he meets Cricket and they become friends and future lovers.
