Angelo Shuzenji

Angelo Shuzenji. Age 26. Height: 6'2". they/him Basically Erissa gets to America, tells her father about the situation and has her child. He's incredibly gifted and finds out at a really early age that he has a healing quirk that's associated with fire. Basically he forms a ring of flames and whatever in that ring is healed in this warming effect. He can apply the flames directly to someone and not harm them (kind of like pokemon rules) BUT he can also amplify the effects of a wound too. as a kid, he was adventurous. he spent a lot of time playing sports (he loves baseball in particular) and actually had no interest in becoming like a "hero". he thought there were too many heroes already and while he was happy to lend a hand from like "a vigilante" perspective, he wantd to play sports...UNTIL...he was old enough that Erissa sat him down and had a talk about who his father was. And when he inquired as to why they dont all live as a family, she had to explain that sometimes things dont work out, but that she's going to go to japan to talk to him about this again ....that's when the touya shit happens. She finds out, helps enji as much as she can in trying to retrieve him. Finally finds him and as she is about to return him to endeavor, touya begs her not to saying it's an endangerment to everyone involved and that enji has "moved on" and after seeing how he treats shouto, she decides to take touya in and raise him The two being only a few years apart are very close, for Touya it was like talking to natsuo again...even if Angelo didn't care much about being a hero himself, he had this level of encouragement from him that natsuo had given up on long ago. and as the two trained together, he also gave Angelo some desire to be a hero...to be someone who wasn't like their birth father that had somehow managed to abandon both of them. Angelo, starting from like age 16 onward decided to pursue the hero career path and did exceptionally well in school. He was quite popular since he also participated in sports where Touya wouldn't. But he never gave the other flack for not wanting to be social. Everyone had their things. But he also never made Touya feel "othered". He always encouraged him to pursue what he was passionate about, and that he'd support him. He also taught touya how to better control his abilities to not just sear through him, and together they formulated a way for him to train with incredibly hot flames without destroying himself. Despite Angelo being older, he actually graduated LATER from the hero course/joined an agency later than Touya because his convictions were just so much more intense. Not to mention Angelo is laid back in a way that allows him to enjoy other aspects of his life. The two DO come to a confrontation where TOuya feels that maybe Angelo's heart isn't in it and he basically esxplains like "there are people, heroes, like all might and mom who strive to be the person that others can rely and look up to. That's you, Touya. it doesn't make you better or worse, it's just your convicition and your way of doing things, and that's great. Me? I want to do my best wherever that takes me. And I want to improve myself, but I"m happy finding my own niche in life as a hero, and I have no doubt that i will." and he gives his typical calm smile like erissa has. "i know it may seem like i dont take these things seriuosly, but i do...in my own way. but know this. No matter what happens, i'm going to be rooting for my little brother. Cuz i know he'll be number one" and that's like their bond as they move into Japan again this particular instance was me thinking of Endeavor fighting that fucking nomu that nearly kills him but his sons appear suddenly to save the day and like the public is IN SHOCK angelo really said "i dont need a dad, i have a mom, grandpa, and an awesome kid brother that came out of the blue and made me want to be a better person" and his definition of being a "good hero" is if he's a good brother also his nickname for Touya is "Pilot Light" because even tho hes had a rough go at it, and is this small flame, he's the flame that's going to ignite the entire system and bring justice to the people Picture this, a young Angelo, couldn't be older than 5 years old, watching the news and hearing about a particularly nasty villain that Endeavor had helped take down. The press ofc takes precedent with All Might, asking questions until he has to leave suddenly for reasons.....reasons unknown to the public but known to others......COUGH but it then pans to a worn out Endeavor who isn't in the mood for interviews but states the simple facts of what had happened and who they apprehended etc. "Endeavor, you have the highest rate of closed cases and solved crime under your belt. What's next for you?" And you see it, the twitch in his lip, the rage boiling over in his face. He's still not number one. He knows he won't be number one so long as all might is alive, but he persists knowing that one day.....he might through his children. "We persevere" and he says rather annoyedly, brushing off the press. Angelo turns off the TV to Erissa's surprise as he continues to doodle with his crayon. "I don't like angry men." He'd say. "I thought he was gonna hurt the camera guy and the news guy....I didn't like that...."
