Hemlock has a poor view of most sentient creatures. He has a hard time trust people due to his childhood. It makes it easy for him to see the darkness and flaws in people, including himself. This makes him harsh with people and likely short. He also has aggressive tendencies that are rare in katragoon which makes him feel like an outcast. HSR Arena is his main outlet for those tendencies and so he is a huge fan of it and likes to participate. He also has done combat training on Earth and other facilities that offer it. 

Despite his off-putting characteristics, Hemlock has a good heart, though it is mostly directly to the people he cares for and animals. Still, he won't turn his back on a person in danger and is extremely protective of his family.

Short Bio:

Born of two scientist, his mother (Mossy) was a biologist while his father was a geneticist. His parents were always more focused on their experiments and unfortunately for him his father often used him to do experimentation. It wasn't until he was around 7 that his mother discovered what their father was doing and turned his father into the authorities on Nie. The experience has left him scarred and distrustful of people though he is quite fond of animals. 

Long Bio:

Hemlock was born on a nature colony which allowed his parents free reign in their respective fields. In the beginning, Hemlock's life was a good one even if his parents were a bit neglectful. It was on his fourth birthday that things changed. It started with injections that his father gave him and little pills he had him take as he recorded it in a file. Then it became more intense, a chair where he would get shocks, more injections but this time with strange side-effects. He wanted to tell his mom but his father told him that his Mom would get hurt if she found out and he had to keep it secret to keep her safe. So he kept quiet. 

It was when he was 7 that he found himself picked up by Nie authorities and there he was seen by a doctor and a nice nurse. Following that he spoke with a psychologist and eventually he was returned to his mother and told his father would not be coming back home with them. It took a long time for Hemlock to feel safe again. His mother tried her best, she was more attentive and they even moved to a new house. Still, his relationship was awkward with his mother. He knew she felt guilty and he couldn't help both appreciating her new level of interest in him as well as resenting it. 

He also had a hard time getting along with people. He would have this burst of anger he couldn't control and this led to him being isolated among his peers. The only comfort Hemlock found was with animals and he began spending most his time with them. His mother even prepared a farm for him where he tended the animals. Things changed when his cousin, Moonlight, came to live with them. Their start was rocky but Moonlight always forgave him for his outburst and eventually he opened up to the pair. Together they helped each other and now Hemlock finds himself more capable of interacting with people and having what he deems a somewhat normal life.
