TTRPG character, she's for a "Monster of the Week" campaign. She's an occult videographer / livestreamer trying to learn things the government doesn't want you to know, about demons and magic.
"Camellia" is her online handle; a made up identity to preserve her anonymity, but she uses it IRL because she likes it better than her birth name. (she's trans, but whether or not she knows to call it that, or would volunteer the information is a different story)
She's Asian American, she dyed her hair red ages ago and it's turned pink after being neglected for a while, she wears heavy, dark clothing and a facemask because she's paranoid of people remembering her face -- even though she hides herself whenever she posts a video or does a stream. She uses a spell to disguise her voice when she livestreams, ostensibly so that her fans won't be able to identify her by that, either -- it doesn't hurt that it makes her feel more comfortable not to show her face and voice to strangers. (She has a weird-cute persona with a camellia flower in place of a face that she uses to represent herself if a video calls for it.) She has dark circles under her eyes from late nights spent editing videos or browsing occult websites.
Her possessions include:
- waaay too much camera gear and recording devices
- demon disguise kit, just in case
- hunting rifle + a couple silver bullets, for the extra "just in case" moments that crop up as a natural result of chasing scary monsters with her camera
