Kelpy is a lagoon monster barbarian from a town where monsters and humans live alongside each other! People used to spread rumors of the fearsome creatures who lived in the lagoon, that any who tried to swim there would be ripped apart by their fearsome claws and teeth. For most of her live, Kelpy has lived by scaring people, but after her sister left the lagoon to make a life for herself in a nearby town, she too left home, deciding to live a new life with humans and other monsters. She tries to be as sweet and nonthreatening as possible, but still often ends up terrifying people unintentionally. After (somewhat) adjusting to life in the town, Kelpy finds herself wrapped up in an investigation of a series of murders that seem to be targeting monsters...
