Personality          

Barbus fancies himself to be a highly skilled and genious inventor when in reality most of his contraptions are things that have already been invented or...frankly useless bits altogether. He will not believe otherwise and very often will continue to act very self centered and praising of himself and his ideas, and of the things he wins off of people crossing the bridge when they lose his riddles. Some who have become regulars in passing his spot do not let on that they take pity on him, assuming him to be weak minded or foolish, and allow him to win easily so they can simply give him things to occupy himself with while others think of it more pleasantly as gifting things to someone who appears lonely. He will not be caught saying if this is true. More often than not he will hide away after some time each day to toy with his spoils, with human objects being some of the ones he finds most fascinating.
