Ino

Description

Ino is a giant sea dragon. She lacks the wings typical of land and some sea species, but her body is covered in webbing allowing her to swim with excellent speed and agility. Ino can breathe on land or in water, as she possesses organs that resemble lungs with gills inside. She has long claws grown out of her fingers and toes which she purposefully keeps dull. Ino has a long, smooth snout and no visible ears aside from a pair of fins on the side of her hair resembling them. She has one long fin running down the length of her back and up her very thick tail.

Personality

Ino is an incredibly kind, mildly naive dragon. She is a good Samaritan and dedicates much of her time and effort to helping others. She will faint at the site of any significant amount of blood, and despises the idea of violence for violence's sake; which is a major disagreement between her and her girlfriend. Ino is very smart and creative, but wisdom is not her strong suit and she occasionally gets herself into trouble mistakenly. Ino is very clumsy on land, but very dexterous in sea having lived most of her life there. 

Story

Ino was born in the undersea city of Kal-En Gale, which most refer to simply as Gale. The city uses harmonic magically-enhanced crystals to power and maintain itself and its connections to land and other undersea cities, and exists with structures crafted out of living coral, sponge, and other underwater life. The city exists within a series of giant, dome-like air bubbles created by a mix of the planets unique atmosphere/geography and naturally occurring geothermal vents.

Ino lived in Gale with her family until the age of twenty when she immigrated onto land. She lived there doing odd-jobs befitting one of her size and strength until she met and started dating Lynn, who inspired her to work as a culture/history teacher in the local university teaching people of undersea life.

Tidbits

Ino has a huge crush on Godzilla and cannot resist seeing every one of their movies. Lynn teases Ino about this quite often.
