Daniel "Diamondback" Orenson has a reputation around town as an aloof, distant jerk, but in reality, that couldn't be further from the truth. Though he may be fairly isolated in his trailer on the edge of town, anyone who puts in the effort to get to know him knows that Diamondback is a kind, thoughtful person who loves music and cryptids.
Though he's not particularly religious himself, he is fascinated by religious history and is seeking a degree in theology- though the recent paranormal happenings around town may put that degree on hold. Still, he's the closest thing his friend group has to a priest, so when communication with demons or spirits is necessary, he's the one his friend group turns to. Diamondback will insist on his nickname- he finds his birthname to be quite stuffy, as he was named after his straight-laced and close-minded grandfather. His nickname, on the other hand, was earned after an incident involving him, a Diamondback rattlesnake, and his free-spirited aunt, with whom he is very close.
