Personality

August is a very controlling man; from making sure the army runs the right way to making sure his children are raised correctly. He is quite hard on them, more so his son over his daughter. His very traditional views demand that he steer his son towards being a Commander just like him and that he marry who he picks out. His views also make him very close minded to several things including Homosexuality.

He has more of a angry demeanour but his able to control it quite well and his mercinary side dosen't come across because of it. He is good at playing the Highborn that he is.

History

August became the Commander of the Vaniscan like his father and alongside his best friend Myles Kade. He did everything to make his father proud of him and changed a lot after his father died. He wanted to achieve his father's dream of one of them becoming King or royalty and worked very hard to make sure he was indispenciable to the Belle family, despite his dislike of them.

His mother Clara worked really hard to get him married to Isolde Pentti because she was from an old family. He fell in love with her immediately and began doing everything he could to make her happy. They had a happy marriage for the most part but his controlling tendecies sometimes made him really hard to live with. They had two children together.

August was really hard on his son Casimir and pushed him to be perfect and follow in his footsteps. They argued frequently and August was often absuive towards him when Casimir disappointed him. He did not agree with any of his son's decisions, especially concerning his relationship with both Ryker and Czarina, more so the former. He was completely against it, feeling it was immoral and a disgrace to the gods as well as a way to eradicate their line completely.

Feeling as though it was something to be embarrassed by, he never spoke of it to anyone.

He was completely different with Inalea whom he doted on and played with. He trained her to fight like he did Casimir and was very proud of her.

He worked really hard to get Inalea married to Chandler Belle so that they would be royalty but was thwarted by Casimir marrying her to a noble from Sunver. It ruined the relationship between him and Casimir even more, which definitely made it easier for him to be left behind when Casimir went to Solpor.

August and Isolde (plus countless others) were banished to the Winter Isles. They came back to Lux and moved into the mountains where August created Bloodstone to take his revenge on Aias and the Belle family. He slowly destroyed the Belle family till they were shaken to nothing.

He adopted Tobias for Isolde because she wanted more children. He raised him exactly like he had Casimir.
