Rinebeck the Shaymin is a Filipino-Sinnohlian Shaymin who never had a great childhood. He was always bullied for his looks and past interests back in his elementary days, and was once severely injured by a student in highschool. Most of the time, the teachers and principals wouldn't care about what his going through and he mostly transferred schools from time to time, which made him an imminent target for bullies.

Rin at the age of 5 lived with an abusive father before moving out of the house with his mother at the age of 8. For the rest of his life, his mother was her only support. And at the age of 18, Rin lost his mother. Fortunately, he was offered a place to stay in Canada by his Uncle and this would be the first time he would ever experience happiness in a while.

Rin's Uncle was obsessed with classic cars as well as turning some of them into hot rod vehicles. And this is how Rin got into racing. His Uncle gave him a '32 De Luxe in which he was tested to create a race car out of a classic old school vehicle. With inspiration from brands like Hot Wheels, the Shaymin created the car we all see today. And without a doubt, his Uncle was so proud of him. Rin found his true colors, his talent and his life.

While on a vacation around the world, Rin's Uncle spotted the Horizon Music Festival during his stay in the United Kingdom. He then informed Rin about the Event, telling him that this could open him up to new things about cars. Without hesitation, Rin took the opportunity, and became the first racer to conquer the Goliath Race in an old car. And of course, landing a spot on the qualifiers for the Horizon Mythical Tournament.
