Raised as royalty, Merwyn is intelligent and good with his words. Despite having a fine home life, he's always had an undeniable curiosity for life outside his kingdom, and a desire to learn more on his own. He's very determined and can be quite possessive and protective over those he cares about.
Typically, he's polite and sweet, but if he's wronged he won't be afraid to stand up for himself.
