Piers is the leader of Ghost Patrol, his ghost-hunting group filled with his close friends (plus his brother). When he was a kid, he was always fascinated with the paranormal, and dreamed of becoming a paranormal investigator. He read books upon books about different kinds of spirits when he was younger instead of playing outside like the other kids--surprising, for an energetic ball of sunshine like him. And when he heard all of the ghost stories from his parents, even having his dad go missing under mysterious circumstances..that only fueled his want to investigate these strange beings even further. He never let the disappearance of his father get him down all that much, since he was determined to find him--even years later, when everyone's basically accepted that he's dead. Piers strongly believes he can find him, possibly in the grasp of a ghost of some kind...
Piers is a happy-go-lucky type of guy who will always see the positive side of a situation. Even if he and his group run into scary ghosts or grotesque monsters, Piers will always find a way to make a dumb joke. As the leader of Ghost Patrol, he's quite confident in his decision making and doesn't really put much thought into them. All that really matters to him is that he and his friends are able to solve the mystery--it doesn't really matter how they have to do it. But of course, he at least tries to make sure no one gets hurt...unless it's himself. Then he will absolutely run straight into danger.

Finally going on my first ghost hunt today!! Jezz doesn't seem too excited about it, but that's fine, I'm sure he is on the inside! Oh yeah, and Max is coming along to "make sure we don't die" or something! Does he really think a little ghost can hurt us that bad?? Could've sworn he said it was a Level 3 or something so I think we'll be fine!
Phantom won't get out of my head. Every time I go in the kitchen I hear his voice telling me to grab a knife and stab someone. And every time I accidentally cut myself he begins to laugh. I don't know what to do. We've tried everything at this point and I'm afraid he'll finally make me hurt someone. Why can't he just leave me alone? He keeps on demanding that I spread blood. Blood. Man, our missions keep on getting weirder and weirder! It's like we're unlocking a secret part of our city, in a way, cuz of all of the huge buildings and underground bunkers that we've never heard about! It's strange that these places aren't talked about as much as they should be, I mean.. we've come across some things no person should see.. with the literal monsters and dead bodies and whatnot. You'd think there would be rumors spread or at least someone documenting what happened but I guess not! Really makes me wonder if what we're coming across is real or not though...hmm..ah well, suppose I shouldn't think about it too much or else I'll really start questioning things!
- Piers first started out as a bright turquoise guinea pig named Plotic (more old art is in his gallery, look at your own risk haha)
- Him being a ghost hunter possessed by a murderer was very much inspired by Johnny Ghost/Jimmy Casket
- He has a British accent
- He's actually quite seasick and hates going on boats
- He's friendly enough to talk to the ghosts he's trying to capture
- Blood, weapons, and getting backed into a corner are the main things that cause Phantom to take over
Childhood best friend.
Piers and Chezden have known each other since they were kids, and they would do basically everything together. Even when Piers had his phase of just reading books, Chezden would bring along his own books to read with him. He does find it a bit odd that Chezden's so worried all the time, like...c'mon, he's got this!
Brother.
Piers loves his brother and would literally die if he also disappeared like their father. He doesn't really understand why he's so unexpressive, and tries to get him out of his comfort zone by getting him to put his phone away for just a second and enjoy the moment. He's that kind of 'annoying' brother.

Max taught Piers a lot about the paranormal and how to handle different entities, so he really appreciates all of his help. He also enjoys hanging out with him when he's, magically, feeling a little bit lower on energy. But he also doesn't get how he can fall asleep so quickly in front of a ghost.

Piers met Savannah through Max, and they instantly clicked. With both of them being super energetic, it was easy for them to get along and keep conversations going. They're also both the type to run right into danger, and so he likes taking her on missions just to have some more fun.

Piers first met Aisha when she was literally bleeding out, and his helpful instincts kicked in to do his best to save her. They kept in touch afterwards, and Piers let her stay at the "GP headquarters", as he liked to call it, but it’s just a house. He doesn't mind how quiet she is, since he's used to his brother, and he likes to make her laugh.

Piers met Conrad after the va--..other human called Ghost Patrol to help him with some pesky ghosts (which turned out to be kinda ironic). He thought his sort of flamboyant nature was entertaining, and he couldn't say no when Conrad offered to help them with their missions...since he was bored. He appreciates having extra strength on the team, to feel more protected.
Enemy.
Phantom is the demon that possessed Piers after killing himself for his "one kill a day" streak, and Piers hates him for it. He hates having to watch as Phantom uses his body to try to harm his friends, but no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to find a way to get him out of his head.
