RONJA

Ronja is a 20 year old wasian girl, with a japanese father and a white mother. She is quite smart, very creative, tech savvy, and good at organizing things. She looks and is pretty sweet, but actually has a really mean side in private. She is aware that she’s often being fake, but barely cares, as she believes it is alright if she isn’t actively upsetting others.
Her mother left her, her dad, and little brother, without a word, when she was only 9. They moved cities soon after. She is extremely resentful at her mother for abandoning them, but she has a very close relationship with her dad. She gets along fine with her brother, but often has little patience for his childish antics. She does not speak any japanese due to her father never teaching her, and she isn’t particularly bothered by it, nor does she feel very connected with her heritage, which Gabrielle finds baffling. She does however speak german and english.
She has always hated school with a passion, and was pretty terrible at it, aside from physics class. She had an attitude with teachers that led to her getting in trouble quite often. She stopped going to school as soon as she finished highschool, and got a part time job as a mail sorter, which she loves. She also is a streamer and vtuber, as well as a tiktok content creator. She is a very sleepy person and spends a lot of time sleeping and hates waking up, but she puts a lot of care and effort into her content creation.
She lives with her girlfriend Ronja, and their old, ugly, and mean cat, Harold, in their small apartment. The two of them met when they were 5th graders, initially clicked, then spent the next four years fighting and disagreeing, before they suddenly became really close, although they only started dating at the end of their highschool years. She sees her dad several times a week.
Since her dad worked a full time job, and her mother was gone, Ronja and her little brother were babysat by Gabrielle’s mother, which is why they saw each other constantly for years, aside from going to school together. She hates both of Gabrielle’s parents, perhaps more than Gabrielle herself.
Her special interest is my little pony. She collects figures and toys and has watched every show, read every comic. She also really enjoys marine biology and fashion. She used to absolutely adore strawberries as a young teenager, and it isn’t so much the case anymore as her feeling neutral about them, but she is now so deeply invested in the aesthetic, she just keeps going along with it. She vapes pretty frequently, with no nicotine, simply for the strawberry flavored smoke. She hates sports, but actually really enjoys roller skating, which she started doing as a tiktok trend and ended up loving, especially if Gabrielle accompanies her.
