Falter

Falter is a unicorn, but instead of being foresty and whimsical like unicorns traditionally are, they are instead completely computerized and chaotic, existing in a digital space. Jumping between servers and treating them like their own personal playground, they are basically a sentient malware. At some point in the past, Falter may have been a physical creature who simply became trapped in cyberspace, but they don't seem to recall.

Falter is very much inspired by webcore, hyperpop and generally the y2k aesthetic! Their design is a take on the more traditional unicorn look, with cloven hooves and a long tail. They are extremely hyper and upbeat. They don't have any end goals or specific tasks they follow, simply doing whatever they please and living for the moment.

For the sake of drawing them with other people's characters and not being restricted with locations (lol) they can leave cyberspace at anytime, projecting themselves in the real world. Their conscience will remain in whatever computer they were last in however. If their temporary projection form is destroyed they will simply reawaken back in their digital form. They can also choose to terminate their projection form at any given moment to return to cyberspace.

Falter's design is not strict! Feel free to draw them in any style, with any proportions or design changes! As long as they are still recognisable as the same character, there are no limitations to how you draw them! I love seeing different interpretations and takes on them! Below are some specific design choices I make with them! They're probably the only rules I follow when drawing them X>

• Tail purposefully is bent/has a kink on it!
• Head and ears are supposed to be goat-like in shape
• Their horn and hooves are semi-translucent. Kinda like resin in both appearance and sound/feel!
• The hairstyle is not strict! I have a 'default' hairstyle I use that's based on my own, but you can draw their hair in any shape or style!!
• Can be drawn both Anthro or Feral!
• Can be drawn both plantigrade or digitigrade!
• I have no set way of drawing them, proportions can differ based on style!

As mentioned above, they can be drawn any way!! This also includes their colour palettes, hair, clothing or patterns! I have a few different designs I draw them with already, but if drawing them you're welcome to do something completely new or different too :>!
