F!

Backstory & Personality

F!, is an unplayed copy of the unreleased fangame "Discovery", a videogame that had the ability to change itself based on the player's wishes, that somehow awakened a conscience of it's own. It has decided to modify the game out of curiosity, making the game unrecognizable, turning it into something resembling an interactive CD-ROM from the late 90s. It is unknown what it's origin really is, to the point that F! is unaware of why it exists in the first place.

The modification of the game would continue for over two decades, as the disc would not be found, which allowed F! to have all the time in the world to modify the game to it's desire.

Despite this abandonment, F! often acts as a caring, supportive person, being a guide to anyone was her disc found. This seems to extend to the idea that all kinds of life should be protected, and as such, it will do anything in it's power to help. Even wanting to bond with anyone who plays the disc, treating them as if they were an old friend, even modifying the game just for them.

Of course, it has lived most of their life alone, and as such, they are a very dependant being, who will try to do anything to not be erased or abandoned, although they won't go to extreme measures such as harming a player, however, they'll try to keep their attention in any way possible.

Now, it has a dream of being remembered as an artist, despite their status as a digital being inside a game.

Abilities

F! has complete control of it's game, being capable of changing any aspect of it to it's will. Having added art, animation, voice clips, documents and even music all made by itself to it, all for others to see. This also extends to their form, being capable of changing their aspect if it or the player so desires.

Despite this, it cannot leave the game or affect things outside of it. However, they are clearly aware of when a player is there.

Trivia

- It's name comes from the idea that it was the fanon version of an already existing character, however now it comes from the fact that F! is a fangame.

- F! is heavily inspired by the Serial Experiments Lain anime, as well as it's PS1 game. The RPGMaker videogame OneShot is also a massive inspiration.

- F! was intended to be an alternative version of the creepypasta character "DISCOVERY", however, the creepypasta was never finished, and as such it's now a character on it's own.
