MODOCOL

Modocol is in charge of connecting your computer to the internet. He is always on the hustle busy connecting your computer to servers. He is quick-thinking and resourceful, able to find creative solutions to difficult problems. For example Modocol finds the quickest path to get your data to servers and back. He transfers the data in collections called "packets" and boards the buses in the Digiscape to move them. Modocol is very sociable with other personas in the Digiscape, except for the malware, which he activiely avoids. He has a great memory in order to remember a myriad of web addresses and IPs of devices on your network.

Modocol can get sick after being hijacked with malware (for example, Didge). The malware does this by injecting their code into him. This can cause Modocol to accidently spread the virus online through contamination. When Modocol is hijacked, he can become sluggish. It may take longer for your computer to connect to the internet. Modocol is equipped with armor to defend himself in case of an attack.

Different malware makes Modocol have different effects. Some malware send you to phishing websites where your sensitive information can get stolen. Others can attach themselves onto emails and be spread that way. Some malware spreads from computer-to-computer through other computers on your network.
