PERSONALITY

Marina has lived a pretty average life ever since she was born, both of her parents were loving and three years down the line she was presented with a baby sister. Her mother was a stay at home mom ever since she was born, while her father was running a carpentry business. She was still a straight A student even when growing up, immediately being praised for being a gifted child. Besides her science classes, Marina wasn't all too interested in other things. She'd sing and dance with her friends, but she wouldn't necessarily call it an interest. Her first actual interest was when her parents bought her a goldfish for her 8th birthday and she found herself infatuated with this animal; in fact, the fish is still alive to this day.

Growing up, she was able to make friends real easily, but she never really had a close friend; most of her friends were just people she could be friendly with and hang out with. Despite this, she was able to find a close friend in her younger sister, Robin. The two often spent most of their free time together if the two didn't already have plans with their other friends. Marina and Robin both know each other as much as they know themselves.

Her transformation was thankfully in her own home when she was 15, her dad was at work and her mom out getting groceries. Working on an important school project on her computer in her room, her sister tripped the breakers by running too many thing at once before Marina could save her project. Of course this piled onto a tower of an already bad day what with forgetting her homework, it starting to rain on her way home, finding that her dad ate her cheesecake, and her internet constantly going out, it kinda tipped the pile over into an extreme reaction. Next moment she knew she was transformed. Coming to see if the power went out across the house, Robin check in on Marina in time to watch the transformation. To this day, Robin is the only one who knows exactly what lead to Marina's transformation.

She kept this a secret from her parents, carefully going around their backs to contact Caecus on her own. She knows she can give into her emotions from time to time and she'd rather not risk herself by transforming in the public.

Marina is a popular girl at school, known for doing a lot of community work and being a big help in school activities. She's incredibly sweet and known to be friendly to everyone she meets, to the point in which she considers almost everyone she meets as a friend. She likes to give people chances to prove themselves, though she'll stop if it seems to be leading nowhere but negative. If she has the time to, she likes to help others with even the smallest of tasks. It's better to leave a good impression than no impression, in her mind. Marina's a straight A student, excelling in science class. Her grades only dropped slightly on and off throughout the year. She offers to help tutor her classmates every now and then. She's known to be very patient, though she can be quick to anger if you press the right buttons. She cares very heavily for her family and friends, jabs at them can make her very upset. On top of that, she has very strong empathy and cares for even strangers and animals strongly. The care for these aren't as strong as those she's close with, but it's still there nonetheless. Though she's not one to react physically to angering situations, she can get mouthy and not think straight. This can lead to her saying hurtful things without meaning them. She will only get physical in situations that may call for it, since she's not strong enough to defend herself if she were to start one recklessly.

• Summon Weapon - Being that Marina only has her one harpoon and net, she can call back both of them in order to reuse them.

• Sea Legs - Marina can control the feeling of friction of things within 2.2 yards of herself (6.6 feet) in all directions. She can only affect up to one living being or five to seven items depending on how large they are. Combined, she can only affect one living being and three to five items depending on size. The affected beings/items then will move as if they are on a ship on rocky waves, moving to and fro for two rounds. This affects them even if they are in the air, but with less intensity than they'd feel on ground. This will give a disadvantage on attack rolls while one is affected. If one finds themself in this situation, they can attempt a contest roll by rolling 1d20 + their defense modifier. If they don't beat a 15, the effect goes into action.
