An immortal who's distant ancestor won a bet with a God to gain eternal life. Gods don't like to keep their promises.
Nothing lasts forever, truly. After an altercation between her uncle and one of the deities of the inner-circle, the Frey lineage has become quite contentious, putting a target and reward across the backs of the entire family. Despite her outwardly composed nature, Beatrice is constantly wracked with anxiety, swearing she can feel her time ticking away. She lives vibrantly, taking risks because she realizes she might not have the eternity she was promised.
The Freys take great pride in finding their own 'purpose', as immortality should not be squandered on mediocrity, but how could she dedicate her entire life to a single task, when her time is so very finite?

On the surface, Beatrice is a carefully-constructed visage of dignity, grace, and charm. She goes out of her way to present herself as someone to be envious of. She carries herself with the utmost care, making sure her posture is straight, and her hair is impeccable. If you took one glance at her, it would seem as though she was without flaw. A perfectionist, she tries her best to maintain this image, sometimes to her own detriment.
Raised in high society, Beatrice knows how to wear a face, and is quite good at setting her own emotions aside for the sake of getting along with others. She's easy to get along with, but only because she wants to be. If Beatrice was honest with herself, or others, and made her intentions clear, it's not likely that she would be able to keep friends for very long.
Dignified
Due to her upbringing, Beatrice is very put-together. Polite and pleasant, she speaks eloquently, and keeps her behavior well-mannered when in the public eye. She carries herself with an air of confidence, and maintains her appearance to match. She does her best to be as likeable as possible.
Spoilt
Beatrice always gets her way. There have been very few instances in her life that haven't gone according to plan, and even fewer that weren't corrected by the people in her life who enable her. Despite her best attempts to maintain face, very few things upset Beatrice as much as failure, rejection, or circumstance. She's prone to whine, beg, or bribe in order to get her way. This tends to pair poorly with her impatience.
Adrenaline Junkie
Beatrice knows that her time is limited, and because of this, she wants to make the most of what she has left. She's prone to making rash decisions, adventure-seeking, and doing things that others may find dangerous (like skydiving or motorcycle racing). Her life could end at any moment, so she'd at least like to die doing something exciting.
Coquettish
There are very few things in life that Beatrice admires more than pretty women, and she wears this on her sleeve. She is prone to flirting with just about any woman who catches her fancy, though there's rarely any serious commitment behind her words. She tends to stray from arm to arm, having no intention to settle down with any one person.

Since the beginning of time, scholars have searched for a method of aquiring eternal youth. It turns out all you really need to do is win a bet with a lesser god. After one of her ancestors outwitted the god of avarice, Beatrice's ancestry has been blessed with near-immortality.

Beatrice's long-standing best friend, and fellow immortal. Miriam took Beatrice under her wing and taught her how to keep up in high society.
At one point their families were rather close, but now they hardly get along. Something about a family business. Beatrice doesn't pay it much mind.
A large tibetan mastiff with carefully groomed hair, painted nails, and a patient temperment. Minou is Beatrice's beloved guard dog, who defends her fiercely and is pampered in return. Wherever Beatrice goes, Minou is often in lockstep, stuck to her side. He's bewilderingly smart, though still thinks he's a lapdog despite usually being half the size (or more) of the people he curls up on. Minou was a gift from a demigod, and posesses a similar semi-immortality to Beatrice and her family.
While Minou is generally rather pleasant until given a reason to distrust someone, he's never gotten along particularly well with Miriam. Beatrice has scolded him for this many a time, but despite their best efforts to win the dog over, they've never managed to get on his good side.
