Served secondhand to Case. After her death, he took over the gang, and somewhat rekindled his old friendship with Cyanide.

He never truly liked Case. He didn't have a choice other than to abide by her policies. He once served Cyanide, when he led the gang, and had always preferred the older man.

Despite still committing crime, he tries to be kinder to civilians than Case ever was. Their gang was established to rebel against the system, not the people trapped within it. He knows it will be difficult to regain the reputation they once had - and they might never succeed in that regard - but he will try, until the day he dies. It's his duty as the leader.

When Cyanide had once asked him if he would ever consider disbanding the gang, he replied, "If we all had another home? Maybe. But there are still people who rely on the money we bring in. There are people who don't have anywhere to go. I can't, for those people." Cyanide had called him honourable, noting how little he had changed despite the many years they had spent separated, to which he replied; "Fundamentals don't change. I've always worked for you to help the people the government can't. It's my job to stand where you once stood, now. I can't fill your shoes, I think. But I can sure try."
