She is generally very happy and preppy and is never afraid to speak up for what's right. She works her hardest to balance her social life and her heroine life, and it works out really well! She's extremely street smart and very outgoing, leading her to have lots of friends. She's approachable and open, always ready to help others in any way possible. She describes her personality as 'meme-y'. By which she means, she is never afraid to make a joke (even one that falls flat on its face) to help the overall morale of the team. She has close ties with everyone in the team and is usually the talkative one in the conversation.  

She is the youngest child in her family and the most responsible. This leads her to the one with the plan, the no-how, and ,most importantly, a powerful voice everyone trusts.  Hayley is the most prepared of the team, too. She carries bandages in her jacket pockets and has stashed epy pens everywhere in the hideout, as well as rubbing achool, stitching stuff and herbs. She has an advanced knowledge of medical know-how (she wants to be a radiologist when she grows up) and has a comforting way with words.

Underneath it all, though, her power weighs greatly on her. Being one of the ones on the team who has universe-altering abilities, she is often chastising herself. Never using her powers enough, using them too much, she can never decide. As the story progress, she begins to learn why Alt-DD is evil. Not only because she let the power get to her head, but also because, after so many 'failed universes' and her trying to go back and save them, she knew the kids in the group were going to die anyway. Why not on her own terms?

Her friends and she were at her birthday party when they all ate radioactive cake which leads to their superpowers, and the formation of the group-teen angst.  While eating her piece of cake, she tripped and that was how she got her powers.

Very close friends. Haylay enjoys talking about DnD with him as well as the good TAZ or JoJo joke here and there. Mostly they bond over choir, which is what their both in at school.
