Never truly got over leaving delta cult and as such is rather pessimistic and skeptical of most things. He doesn't particularly like Elijah but trusts him enough after he helped him. He absolutely despises Akako and sees no reason why Elijah would choose to date her but keeps it to himself. Like the Kitsune she is, she has a habit of bewitching men but Richard is utterly immune. She still hasn't figured out why.
