Asami

Asami owns a traditional Tea House with her sister, Kabuki. She runs the tea house in the mornings and daytime, performing tea ceremonies and occasionally singing for her guests. She is a bubbly and warm spirit, and is world renowned for her healing teas and gentle nature. She leaves all of her guests feeling renewed and, often, much more lucky than when they entered.

Every day, Asami wakes up at dawn and walks around her quiet Japanese neighbourhood to collect fresh herbs and flowers. Pictured below, she has picked some vibrant purple wisteria flowers, and sakura blossoms for her famous "Pink Harmony" cherry tea. She then watches the sun rise as she prepares her first pot of tea which she will serve in traditional tea ceremonies for the day's visiting guests. Asami also loves the art of flower arrangement, and creates new floral decorations each morning to decorate the Tea House as a way of improving her skills.

Both sisters have a team who help them with all sorts of tasks, from preparing food and drinks for their guests, to cleaning, handling transactions, and booking guests for appointments with the hosts. The Tea House is wildly popular and known around the world, and it can take months to book even an hour of their time. It's worth the wait, though, and many of their guests come back year after year for their wonderful hosting and relaxing atmosphere.
