Background// Her origins are unknown to Neira herself, but in a previous life she was a forest spirit (nymph) who unfortunately was captured and hunted for the last few months of her life as more feral hunter-kias came into the forest she cared for and occupied. They used a variety of traps in attempt to capture her, which she skillfully avoided until one clever hunter tracked her movements and caught her with a tightly woven net that was hidden under a pile of leaves. Everything after her capture gets blurred a bit, but it's assumed that her injuries were too much for her to withstand. 

She has been reborn again into a new body - and a new world - but as she's slowly discovering herself, she's slowly discovering her past as well.

Her capture is also tied to Sylvia's backstory. Sylvia had been unfaithful to her then current mate, though she was left unpunished for her deeds. The green kia had been in the forest one day - the same day Neira happened to be captured. Before she had given up completely, Neira sent out one last attempt to protect herself, missing her captors and instead hitting Sylvia. The shot rooted her feet into the ground and a tree began to quickly grow around her, entrapping her in the large wisteria tree. The shot that hit her was not meant for her, but the curse was a punishment in it's own right, even if it wasn't intended for her from the beginning. When Neira was reborn, Sylvia was released from her prison cell. She too remembered little of her past life, and continues each day trying to uncover more of it. 

Likes// Time to herself, hikes and walks in the forest that surrounds the edge of her town, loose/flowy clothing, helping others, animals and plants (flowers in particular), vegan restaurants and snacks, and working.

Dislikes// Hunters/fishermen of any kind, people who harm the environment, rude/bigoted people, ignorance, abuse of kiamaras or animals (mental, physical, or verbal), injured animals, gore, unhappy people, and construction companies.
