Kijani

Kijani was named after his father, a great warrior with a big heart and immense strength that came not only from within, but was given back to the world in kindness- his father fought with such strength to protect the ones he loved and for what he believed in. At least, that is what Kijani's mother told him as a pup. Sadly, Kijani doesn't even really remember his father, as he passed away when he was very young. The pack that his father led alongside his mother dispersed after his death. Luckily, there was a neighboring pack that had become acquainted with them over the years, and they were happy enough to take on the few extra canines into their numbers.

These things were things of the past, for Kijani, however. As the years passed he grew up with a spirit larger than life. He has a great personality and love for others, a joy that is contagious among everyone he encounters, and it could be his greatest strongsuit, but he fails to see this. Instead he wishes to become one of the greatest warriors of the pack, but more often than not he gets in his own way. Confidence can only make up for so much, and Kijani is hardly willing to work hard for what he's considered his birthright, his natural ability. This sort of thinking is exactly what's gotten him into so much trouble, and he has the scars to prove it. It could be said that he learned his lesson, but he still is fairly naive and cocky when it comes to avoiding unwise situations.

As Kijani has gotten older, he has started developing a rather problematic crush on his pack alpha, Shank. Most of the pack does not approve (if they notice), especially not Shank himself. Shank is cold and distant, aloof, and Kijani puts himself in idiotic circumstances to try to prove himself worthy to him. It's hard to say if Shank even notices, but every once in a while, they make brief eye contact, just enough to make his heart stop a beat, and just enough for him to attempt another foolhardy stunt.
