Mau once found a caterpillar and became very attached to it, trying her best to take care of her weird green worm. Sadly, the caterpillar died before it reached adulthood; Mau, only a dumb innocent sock that didn't understand the death of the tiny mortal creature, was very distraught.
Thimble was able to capture and protect its soul while he created a plush body to bring Mau's caterpillar back. Stitches added scraps of Mau's socks to his wings, and a signature star tag the same color as one of Mau's.
Brought back to life as a plush version of what he should have been, Mau can now take care of him forever, safe in their plush family.
