Ixe

The Avatar of the Isth Race, fallen daughter of Krenaru & Khorm the Sovereign. Her Father, Khorm, was a king who had eternally ruled their world under the guise of being the planet’s ‘divine mouthpiece’. Ixe rose up to him after years of being his pawn and figurehead, ruining his kingdom with her resolve–and her retribution.

The Isth are a race of animated statues, each bearing a gem that gives them soul and life. Undying, immune to hunger and unable to sleep, they live within the fiery depths of their home planet. In native tongue “Krenaru” is its name, meaning “Fire that Gives”. The Isth people believe the planet itself conceived their race, one day carving them bodies and placing gems on their masks to bring them life. Isth are incapable of reproduction, but their numbers were nearly endless in the days of their creation. That number grows smaller with time, for death may be unnatural to an isth, but it can happen if they are shattered or broken enough.

What makes Ixe so special is that she is young; an impossible thing for an Isth. She is the first Isth to be newly created in countless millennia; her name meaning “second beginning”.
