Ultima

• They temporarily mutate/evolve random features of other pokemon under duress or in certain enviornments, and can sometimes do it at will

Ultima is an enigma. He keeps to himself most of the time and rarely seems to do anything that...makes sense to other pokemon. His many years of life leave him incredibly wise, but not beholden to standards of etiquette or politics that others may follow. He can come across as rude and cold, or distant from the things happening "below" him, but he's actually very attentive and caring and will do all in his power to help other pokemon - no matter the cost. He does however, prefer to help from a distance- swaying things subtley rather than making a big scene. Solely- because he'd really rather be left alone. He may want to help other pokemon- but he's seen far too many pass through his life to really want to build a significant connection with most of them save for Myriad- whom he's existed alongside since his creation. He has a special soft spot for eevees and eeveelutions, and some have suggested that he played some sort of part in why they've maintained such a peculiar DNA structure that allows such heavy mutation- whether intentionally or not is unclear. 

 He doesn't really speak, and if he does- it's incredibly rare and typically single words or very small phrases. While he's become incredibly jaded simply due to having been around for more than his fair share of years- he finds joy the best he can in little things, and in fleeting moments. While it's rare for him to put himself out there- when he does he usually leaves with a smile on his face for having engaged with something so precious as time in a life that flies so fast. 

Ultima is a powerful mew/eevee fusion, and it's exact origins are unknown. It doesn't know how old it was- and if it did...it sure wouldn't tell anyone. It seems to have some sort of bond with Myriad- perhaps due to their mutual ages, but it seems to be something deeper than that.

The two were formed at the beginning of the sky islands, though Myriad was shunned by others of her kind, Ultima saw through to the kindness she had in her spirit and the well intentions that she held. While their relationship was always...questionable- an on and off affair that held them as friends, loved ones, enemies, and looping again, it's undeniable that because of Myriad, Ultima finds that the sky islands holds quite the place in their heart. 

When Eru arrives and he senses the strange connection between him and Myriad, Ultima keeps a very close eye on him, treating him in an almost fatherly manner. Escorting him through his journey from afar, and saving him when all seems lost. A mysterious benefactor that never really shows his face.
