Yi Sang ( イ・サン I San ) is a character appearing in Bungou Stray Dogs and a former member of the Transcendents. He betrayed the organization for unknown reasons, and is currently on the run. It is highly speculated he is up for arrest and supposed to sent to Meursault Prison. For reasons unknown, he is speculated to seek out the Book in Yokohama His Ability is called Crow's Eye View.

Appearance

Yi Sang is a man of slightly above average height, standing at 5'9. He has fair skin, messy sleek black hair, and sharp blue eyes. He always keeps his face covered with a mask.

Ability

Yi Sang's ability is called Crow's Eye View ( カラスの視点 Karasu no Shiten ). It is an ability triggered by speech in which Yi Sang can implant information directly into someone's brain. The information transfer causes vibrations in the brain for as long as one of the following conditions are met:

1. Yi Sang's voice is heard
2. Yi Sang's lips are able to be read
3. Vibrations are transmitted through other means such as microphones and PA systems.

The brain can eventually be overstimulated, and in fatal cases, shut down. However; Yi Sang has pushed the boundaries of this Ability, being able to make entire heads explode from the information overload. That being said, Yi Sang constantly has an overload of thoughts in his own brain and he has ended up developing a habit of self talking to release this information to not overwhelm himself.

Background

Born as Kim Hae-kyung, Yi Sang was born in Seoul, South Korea to parents who worked in journalism. However, an incident left both parents jobless, and they opened up a barber shop. This incident led to the young Hae-kyung's adoption by his uncle.
