Helios

Helios began like any ordinary slime but had always had a noticeable obsession with the sun.

No matter how much he stared up at it, it never seemed to affect him and it is believed he is immune to its glare. Helios's obsession with the sun was no big deal but that was until he first met one of the researchers. He started taking an immediate interest in the weird things these creatures use things that made them be able to seemingly hold the sun in their hands. This began the "borrowing" of said items leaving the researchers to be more than a bit frustrated. Now believing he has the power to be as bright as the sun one day his quest for more bright things doesn't seem to be ending any time soon.

To combat this obsession the researchers had began creating "decoys" keeping him at bay long enough that they could get some work done without their torches, lightbulbs and sometimes batteries stolen. Helios will always be a main example as to why it is essential all access to their research pod remain sealed as it was once reported they had returned to find all their lightbulbs stolen (this had caused many projects to be paused as retrieving these lightbulbs became essential)

Although annoying it has been discovered that Helios does indeed have his uses. He seemingly has the ability to not only be able to make these items work on their own but the ability to charge items such as batteries as well. Trying to research more into this has been more than a pain since its almost impossible for him to do as asked especially with his ability to also drain items. Still the researchers are determined to find an understanding with him supplying him with all the glowsticks he could want as rewards (he likes the pretty colours)
