Lizzy thought she was on her way to a normal life like everyone else, until she accidentally summoned a demon. She summoned Quill, a demon from hell who forms soul contracts with those who summon him so he can atone for his sins in his past life and be reborn. Bound by their contract, Quill must fulfill Lizzy's desires and wishes. But.. what happens if she doesn't have any? Now Lizzy is stuck with Quill until she dies as he insists he needs to always be by her side to protect her.

Just as Lizzy was getting used to having Quill around, she began to notice the challenges that would come with this whole ordeal. Getting him deguises, getting him into her school, and even falling for him. Nothing could prepare her for their first visit from Gabriel, and Arch Angel from heaven. Gabriel's goal is to convince Lizzy to terminate her contract with Quill and form one with him so her soul will go to heaven instead of hell when she dies. After Lizzy declined his offer, he now visits every month even after making it clear she hates him.
