Gentle . Empathetic . Welcoming

A warming presence, Aleta is welcoming and open to any company, despite looks or past transgressions. Attempts to forgive and forget.

With those she knows well, is quite touchy and affectionate, bashful easily with any attention returned to herself. Selfless in a way, but not enough to die for anyone that has not earned that spot in her life.

She is obedient, and trusting, but she is capable of holding her own thoughts on individuals or situations, even if they don't align with those of loved ones.

She is sensitive to light, and prolonged exposure causes discomfort to her already bad eyesight, as well as capable of sunburns if she isn't careful.

She has no sense of smell, so the behaviour exhibited in forest is that of a learned behaviour and social construct she has been conditioned to since birth. Comforted by the action, despite no use for it, as it makes her feel more like everyone else.

'Sees' colours. Her appendages pick up colours around her and bring back the picture, painting it for her so she can see almost as normal as everyone else. It is similar to echolocation, and without it would be completely blind.

Wears, and draws, paints and symbols on her pelt quite often. Different colours have different meanings, and vehemently disallows the drawing from anyone that is not her immediate family. Sacred.

Her appendages are very sensitive to touch, they will instinctively recoil at the slightest of touch from anyone that isn't her own grooming and tending to.

The floral arrangement has been there since fawnhood. Flowers would be added, replaced if they had wilted. And, unbeknownst to her yet, one of the native flowers of Amnula was a parasite, and has planted into her like she is a host. Roots have grown and very slowly morphed with the doe, pushing its way into her skin and flesh. It has been so gradual, over the past couple of years, that Aleta hasn't felt a thing. The parasitic flower helps the other flowers placed there by Aleta herself, or others, to thrive and live. A single, or double, root expands from the flowers' stem, digging its way into her body to share her nutrients and continue living. Only recently (10/7/20) discovered they are apart of her.
