Kaleb

Kaleb was Alara and Danther's eldest son. He was murdered when Adriel was 8, forever changing the family.

Appearance

A youth of average height and build, Kaleb had pale skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes.  He kept his hair short and usually bore a stubble on occasion.  He usually wore a similar style of clothing to his father, albeit with a youthful touch. 

Personality

Kaleb often presented himself as the perfect son and brother, eager to please his parents and be kind to his little brother.  He seemed a bit immature, but nothing he wouldn't grow out of.  Or so his parents thought.

Kaleb had a darker side hidden - a side that wanted to explore the power and wealth his position gave him, which wasn't helped by a circle of friends who did nothing but encourage his bad behaviour.  He eventually became something of a problem child, disappearing into the city for days at a time and giving his parents an unrelenting amount of stress, though they were quick to hide this from people outside the family.  Kaleb loved to be around people, disappearing into bars and clubs.  Some of these exploits led him into drug abuse.  Though he often acted like he didn't care, he never truly meant to hurt his family, especially Adriel.

He had a slight obsession with firearms, and got into trouble with his parents for carrying them around and shooting them in the garden.

Trivia

• He helped young Adriel christen his knight doll "Fabio".
• He was well liked by his Uncle, who seemed to accept and encourage his interest in firearms and even allowed Kaleb to practice shooting in his own garden by setting up a target range.
• His hobbies included reading gunslinger novels and real firearms.
• Being 10 years older than Adriel, if he had lived he would have been 26 in the present timeline.
