Astrid is an Eclectic Green Witch, a wise sage and herbal healer. Her home is a yurt-shaped hut made of branches and dried mud, located in the forest just outside of town. Astrid has her own self-run business at home called "Astrid's Apothecary", where she works as a healer and sells home-grown herbs, tea and honey.  When a doctor cannot help, visitors turn to Astrid to heal them or weaken the pain.  Most customers come to her for simple things such as white willow for headaches or ginger tea for common colds, but on rare occasions there will be a more challenging topic that requires her full attention. She works alone, preferring the quiet hermit life where she can spread out her garden far and wide. and has a deep knowledge of plants and the natural world. She has a close connection with Mother Earth and Father Sky. Sometimes she can see prophecies in her dreams that happen to herself or to others who she has spiritual ties with, but she cannot claim to be a seer or prophet because she can't control it and it's limited.
