Elliot will more or less smile while he tells you you’re “Being a fucking idiot.” but it’s not a bad thing! He’s a supportive guy who thinks people should try and chase their dreams and do what they can. He wants to see people safe and happy above all. However that doesn’t stop him from internalising some awful things. He knows the world is dangerous, and he assumes people have ill intentions more likely than not. It doesn’t help that he’s exposed to the bad more than he is the good. Elliot does have hope and faith in others, but it’s easily crushed. That said, he knows that he can’t control what other people do, so he has to do good himself when he can. He’ll help people when he thinks they need it and will generally do whatever he can to make people happy if he feels they deserve it. He has a strong will to better himself and to stand up for those who can’t do it themselves.
Elliot also has an incredibly strong sense of family. To keep it short, they’re what motivates him the most, and the reason he keeps on keeping on.
