Personality: You could say Hugo isn't like your average everyday kid. He doesn't have that urge to play or talk constantly. Sure he's outgoing, but others often mention how mature he is compared to the others his age. That doesn't mean he's a stick in the mud though. His need to explore and find new challenges are very much real, for Hugo is often found climbing trees trying to get to the top or just exiting a cave he carefully looked over. Hugo loves animals as well, which is why he has his bird companion Oz to keep him company. He doesn't stop there though. Hugo has been caught helping baby birds learn how to fly or clearing clogged streams for fish to swim through. His kindness towards nature knows no bounds. As gentle as Hugo is, he can be pretty argumentative at times. If something you said clashes with a firm belief then he is inclined to steer you straight. He is currently training to be a Warrior in his Region, which might sound a bit odd and out of his comfort zone considering he'll have to be violent someday. His reason for picking that rank comes from his natural instinct to protect others, and that's stronger than his desire to remain a pure pacifist.
Artist Notes:
Hugo has a need for privacy so he's always seen with all accessories, the only acceptation being his dark blue hoodie/poncho! His hoodie is the only accessory that I'm ok with if you don't include it, but the orange tank top still needs to be present pls! When in doubt just draw all his accessories. Both Hugo's hood and tail warmer have a design/pattern of swirls on it. Another thing is I often draw Hugo with specifically small paws, big ears, big eyes, a big fluffy tail. I've had drawings of him with a thin tail and they just don't do my boy justice in my opinion. Hugo has somewhat rounder features, that doesn't mean you can't get creative though! With all that said, I don't mind artist creative freedom when it comes to things as long as it doesn't completely contradict my requests. In case you didn't notice, Hugo also has a pet bird named Oz that hangs around him from time to time. It is completely up to you whether you want to include him or not, he's optional. As for Hugo's age, he is kid like in his appearance and often has an innocent . Giving him child-like behaviors is encouraged and avoiding anything romantic is appreciated. Alright, last thing! When drawing Hugo using his abilities, be aware that his eyes glow when using them. The teleportation specifically is blue.

Drawing ideas:
- I'm ok if you draw him interacting with another OC as long as it's a friendly encounter. If you need an idea however, I definitely encourage you to draw him with this character Kivah. They're buddies, but be sure to read Kivah's personality, its really important. :] Hugo is a shorty pants and Kivah is reallyyyy tall, so keep that in mind. ^u^
- Hugo has been in fights protecting others before so drawing him dusty with some wounds that would be cool.
- If you for some reason have a strong passion to draw Hugo without any of his accessories, I won't be upset as long as you at least make him extremely embarrassed about being naked. There won't be any acceptable expressions expect for that and anything else will just be a drawing that I won't be thrilled about, that's just the hard truth of the matter.
- Hugo has a yellow parakeet named Oz that hangs around him most of the time, so feel free to include him. Oz can be a brat sometimes, whether its trying to take Hugo's hat off because he knows he doesn't like it or even leaving a little poop on Hugo's head would be absolutely hilarious! Cute wholesome pictures are good too though.
- Hugo is very fond of teleportation, so he likes to use it often. A drawing of that is always appreciated.
- Hugo and Oz play together often. Oz likes to dance around on Hugo's head or tail while singing some sort of song. I think that would make a really cute picture
- If you want to add a background to the picture, feel free to draw him in a forest.
- Hugo is incredibly athletic and thrives in tree tops or swimming in a pool. Even running around in a meadow will do. Interacting with other animals is a hobby of his as well. He is particularly fond of birds.
- I love me some candy gore!!! >:D
- Feel free to recreate some cursed image or meme because I die for those as well. Here's an example that someone did for me recently.
General Guidelines:
- Don't change Hugo's species, gender, or design.
- Mild gore/injuries are fine, nothing explicit
- Nothing NSFW/sexual
- Don't draw him wearing or doing anything that's racist, a fetish, or generally controversial.
- Only draw him with your character if you're planning on keeping it friendly and not sexual or violent.
- He's not suicidal or depressed, so don't draw him doing any self harm
- Hugo is always wearing his accessories, so don't remove them from him. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRAW HIM WITH HIS HOODIE THOUGH! NEW RULE! I have a reference of him without his hoodie though so please follow that if you decide to draw him without his hoodie.
- I love all of my characters and take them seriously. You don't have to love them, but I would appreciate it if you at least took them seriously.
