Backstory: Originally born of a broken relationship and she seemed to be mostly kitsune, which made her uneligible for the thrones of either of her parents. Her parents stopped being together and went their seperate ways. Neither wanted Akemi in their homes so her mother sent her to live with her younger sister, a kitsune. She grew up loved more by her aunts and rarely seen by either of her birth parents, who were ashamed of her and didn't want their "perfect" children tainted by her. Akemi was resentfull of her half-siblings but eventually she grew to seperate them from her parents mess; they weren't aware of what happened so she didn't blame them. Grew up in Vampiria for part of her life and went to the same school as Ashe, they were in different grades and didn't know each other very well. When she was 15/16 she went to royale high much to the dismay of her parents who didn't want their children to meet her. Nevertheless, headmistress divinia and her aunts saw no reason to pull her from royale high so she continued attending. Still, her parents didn't let up so she started doing bad things to try and get her birth parents' attention, but it never worked. Even with her stunt of setting royale high on fire they didn't care. In juvenile detention she had therapy and eventually she concluded that her parents will never care for her like they care for her half-siblings, but she decided to roll with the good parts of her life she had. She started spending time with her half-siblings, aunts and her older female cousin while calling out her male cousin on his bs
