Mateo's name was inspired by my mothers(SlyFoox's) favorite boy name. Mateo in Spanish means Matthew. Mateo had a rough childhood in his teenage years until he moved out, he was born to two parents who both "lived" off drugs at the time, his parents where both meth addicts and was living in a old rundown house that needed a lot of repairs, leaving it to be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. His mother, attempted to get clean for Mateo up until he was 15 but wasn't successful on keeping clean, his father on the other hand neglected him, chose his drugs over him, and doubted that Mateo was even his. All of this lead to him being a stoner all throughout high school and up until this point, he doesn't plan on quitting but since slowly letting go of his weed addiction. During high school he worked at Starbucks, Safeway, and at Sally's(a boutique store). His friends see him as the "dad" figure 95% of the time.
He's currently employed for a construction company! He owns a single story house. His favorite bands right now are red hot chilli peppers, $uicideboy$, and Sublime. He loves joy rides and smoking around others. He doesn't know here his father is at currently, and he hopes not to run into him anytime soon. He'll at times take care of his mother when she needs it.
Mateo tends to keep to himself about how he feels but when he gets corss faded you can see him open up more. He is over protective when it comes to his stuff. Despite his past he enjoys being around others and loves his mom because the fact she tried for him. When scared he usually holds his ground, trying to be tougher than what he really is.
