About...
A Harbinger born of cursed Flame that brings rot to whatever she touches - including her own skin. Driven out of her homeland, Cadava, she struggled to survive in the wartorn and unforgiving Bivve before managing to convince Syrinx to give her a ride to Lacraya, said to be a place where all Flame were welcomed.
Such a claim was, as they typically are, partially true. Though she was allowed entry to the Empire, the effects of her Flame kept mortal and Flamed alike distant. Desperate, she traveled to Canthores and begged Nereen to help her plight. He did so, giving her a position in the Court and a private tower to live in, but could not cure her illness or force the other Court members to tolerate her presence.
But, all changed when the newest Emperor was crowned - Peaches, reincarnation of the Ardor god Xharde - and used his holy power to purge the rot from her body. Though it creeps back, he has pledged to help her find a more permanent solution, and for that, she will protect him with her life.
Personality...
Reserved and quiet. Reflexively flinches at raised voices and concerned stares. Is starved for human interaction, but is socially awkward and laden with self-doubt enough that she avoids it. Pines after people and places, but has grown resigned with her place in life. Terrified to let herself hope for things again.

Anything Blackfuse's magic (blood) touches begins to rapidly wither and decay, including her own body/skin. As such, she is careful to never cast magic if she can help it, and wraps her body in enchanted linens that suppress her Flame.
