Personality

Riven is extremely distrustful of others; he is very wary of people coming up to him and talking to him. He's usually very quiet and dosen't open up to very many people. When he does, he often seems angry and a bit resentful.

Despite his angry nature, he is quite the determind go getter and will doing anything he sets his mind to. He is not afraid of a challange.

History

Riven is Alastair's only son. He was born in Razra while his parents were living happily there. His father told him many stories of living in Vanporal and the feud between Casimir and Ryker, leaving out their romantic entanglement. He became quite angry and resentful of many people for the treatment their family had suffered at the hands of the Kades and would often say he would avenge their family.

After his father died, Riven's anger and distrust grew. His mother sought out the Archer Caravan where she hoped he would get the training he needed to be better protected from the Kades. He learned to fight and make weapons which landed him a job as a Blacksmith in Razra. He went back and fourth from Razra and the Caravan with his mother to continue his training even though his mother did not want him to try and take back Vanporal.

When Lyris died, Riven almost went after Xeryus Kade but decided to honour his mothers memory and did not leave for sometime. He had become close friends with the daughter of the Archer Caravan's leader, Rhema and eventually the two of them were married and settled down in Razra where they had a son named Maverick. As his father did with Lyris and himself, he told them both about what their family had gone through.

When Maverick was old enough, Riven and Rhema using their Blacksmith job to get closer to the Kades, decided to attack Xeryus and paid for it with their lives.
