    Thanato Vultures work a bit like the common personification of death. They tend to know who's on their way out, and the show up when your in a critical way.
However, unlike the common image of death, they do not take your soul. Instead, they show up and remind you of all the things that you are still responsible for and all the people who care about you.
    Some find this great fun, just to watch you squirm in your last few breaths. Others will try to convince you to fight death, even when its not possible to win.
    Patience is rather neutral. He hates to see people in pain, and he will do everything in his power to ease it. He will kindly remind the people he visits that their story is not through, but he understands when they give up. He's seen quite a few horribly wounded soldiers in the use past few decades, and it hurts his heart to try and convince them of anything.
    Thanato Vultures normally don't have friends, (for obvious reasons) but Patience is an outlier. He has become close with a winged girl named Cyan, and he would do anything to see her removed from the human war.
