Mark wasn't ready to take care of a baby. While trying his best for the first few years, he eventually left his wife and son to live his own life away from all the stress.
Mark's entire relationship with Lori collapsed once they had Ronnie, so they got divorced with split custody of him. When Ronnie was with him, he'd cause nothing but chaos,
leaving Mark even more stressed.
